Music and Sound In Film with Carlos Guedes

An in-depth look at why sound and music are important in conveying meaning in film. This workshop will be led by Carlos Guedes, a Portuguese composer, media artist, educator, and researcher whose creative work includes several commissions of music for contemporary dance, theatre, film and interactive installations. His compositions have been featured in places and events such as The Kitchen, Joyce SoHo, Judson Church, ArCo, Guimarães 2012 European Capital of Culture, Beijing Modern Music Festival 2016, and Sharjah Flag Island Festival.
