Wings of Mexico

The sculpture ‘Wings of Mexico’, created by Mexican artist Jorge Marin is now in Abu Dhabi after having visited Kuwait, Egypt, Singapore, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Bangkok. ‘Wings of Mexico’ was created in 2010 and has since become a symbol in its own right, of the hopes and dreams of a nation’s citizens, at the same time promoting Mexico’s image and artistic output worldwide. This installation is coordinated by the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) in cooperation with Manarat Al Saadiyat, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico, the Mexican Agency for International Cooperation for Development (AMEXCID), The Embassy of Mexico and the Foundation Jorge Marin.
