Abdul Qader Al Rais: 50 years of Art

Art is a retrospective exhibition celebrating Abdul Qader Al Rais, one of the most influential artists in the local art scene, who is known for his symbolic paintings and calligraphic concepts. The exhibition features over 70 paintings from the late 1960s to this date, which provides an insight into the artist’s personal journey and his artistic development over time.

Abu Dhabi Festival Exhibition Distant Prospects | European Landscape Paintings from The Liechtenstein Princely Collections

In parallel with the 2019 Abu Dhabi Festival, ADMAF will welcome visitors to the compelling exhibition Distant Prospects, presenting a history of European landscape painting with loans from the world-renowned Princely Collections of Liechtenstein, including permanent loans from The Hohenbuchau Collection and other private collections, exhibited here in the Middle East for the first time.

Examining their visionary lives and reimaging their worlds, the exhibition demonstrates the power of these leaders to inspire people to rethink their present and transform the future. Fully interactive and immersive spaces take visitors on a journey of love and leadership, celebrating Zayed and Gandhi’s shared values of peace and tolerance.

Sound Healing Journey

Combining the sounds and vibrations of special instruments that have profound healing effects on the physical body and emotions. Tibetan bowls, quartz crystal bowls and harps, rattles, and drums are among the tools used, in combination with chanting, to produce an immersive sound journey with a restorative and relaxing effect.

Drums By Kharsha

A series of workshops that focus on the increasingly popular ‘Taiko’ Japanese drums. These workshops are conducted by the Kharsha group, made up of young Emirati and Japanese drummers. Learn drumming techniques from both cultures in a fun and interactive environment.

Bait Al Oud Concerts
